Job Summary
Load and unload equipment, assist in service, repair, and installation of water pump systems, and connect pipes while setting pumps. Identify and pull hoses, pipes, fittings, and pumps for maintenance and repair activities. Utilize motorized equipment to safely handle machinery, secure loads, and ensure yard areas remain clear of debris. Follow all safety processes, travel locally for mobilization, and assist in diagnosing issues with diesel-powered heavy equipment. Requires a high school diploma, valid driver's license, and general mechanical aptitude.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- General mechanical aptitude
- Prior experience in a hands-on, field-based (i.e., outdoor) position
- Valid driver's license with good driving record
- Ability to follow directions and work independently in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work flexible hours and travel locally as needed
- Ability to read, write legibly and communicate effectively
- Ability to safely operate diesel-powered hydraulic lifting equipment
- Ability to lift/push/pull up to 75 pounds
Desired Qualifications
- Prior experience operating heavy equipment and/or machinery
- Diesel engine experience
