Job Summary
Provide remote technical support via telephone and ticketing system, perform routine preventative maintenance, and troubleshoot full diagnostics of mechanical and electrical system failures. Conduct formal service quotes to customers, execute full system testing and calibrations after repairs, and manage individual service cases to meet departmental metrics and key performance indicators. Manage travel schedule and expenses in line with ITW guidelines while supporting service growth across the Northeastern territory. Requires a valid driver's license, up to 70% travel within the United States, and ability to work outside normal business hours. Company-paid vehicle and 7.5% 401K match provided.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Electronics, Mechanical Engineering, or related field
- 3–5 years of relevant experience
- High School Diploma/GED
- 5–7 years of field-based experience in electronic instrumentation maintenance and troubleshooting
- Demonstrated adherence to workplace safety standards and best practices
- Strong diagnostic skills
- Ability to interpret mechanical drawings and electrical schematics
- Proficiency in using hand tools, machine tools, and precision measuring instruments
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills
- Professional demeanor
