Job Summary
Field Services Technician role focused on servicing Bluberi gaming equipment in the Des Moines area. Responsibilities include installing, configuring, maintaining, and troubleshooting gaming products and related components; conducting on-site service at casino locations; communicating with customers and dispatch; handling parts logistics and documentation; performing preventative maintenance; and driving to multiple sites with frequent overnight travel. Must demonstrate problem-solving, manual dexterity to handle equipment up to 50 pounds, and ability to work in varying conditions, including heights and inclement weather. Education required includes a High School Diploma/GED; additional technical or IT training is a plus; 4+ years electronics/repair experience; licensing eligibility with gaming regulators; and a valid driver’s license (CDL possible). Knowledge of gaming industry and data analysis/tools (Python/R) preferred; strong communication and client-facing skills are essential. Travel-heavy, on-site service across Des Moines area; at-will employment; immigration compliance and equal opportunity policies in place.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma/GED
- Technical or IT related training or education is a plus
- 4+ years of electronics, repair, field, or related industry experience
- Degree or certification in Gaming-related field highly preferred
- Must be able to obtain licensing approval by tribal and/or state gaming regulators
- Must have a valid driver's license and be able to obtain CDL if necessary
- Have basic written and verbal English communication skills
- Travel: 100% to various casino locations for on-site repairs
- Experience in customer interactions and delivering reports
