Job Summary
Deliver, install, and maintain satellite dishes and related equipment, retailer POS terminals and supplies. Analyze and evaluate traffic and performance data. Diagnose and repair hardware, software, and system issues. Provide technical support to customers. Use power and hand tools for installation/maintenance and service rooftop satellite terminals. Maintain accurate records of installations, services and repairs. Adhere to safety policies and update job knowledge through training and reading technical materials. Travel/drive safely between sites and comply with vehicle policies.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2-5 years experience with commercial communication systems or electronics
- Must have at least 3 years of driving experience in the class of vehicle operated
- Must possess valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Must be able to lift/carry up to 80 pounds occasionally
- Experience with installation/maintenance of satellite dishes and POS terminals
- Knowledge of commercial communication and telecommunication systems
- Ability to diagnose and repair hardware, software, and system issues
- Willingness to work rotating shifts including weekends/holidays
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Experience updating records and maintaining documentation
