Job Summary
Field Service Technician tasked with delivering, installing, and maintaining satellite dishes and related equipment, retailer POS terminals and supplies. Responsibilities include diagnosing and repairing hardware, software, and system issues; providing technical support to customers; using power and hand tools for installation and maintenance; servicing rooftop satellite installations; maintaining accurate records of installations, services, and repairs; reporting technical status with accuracy; and upholding safety and quality standards. Requires a high school diploma or equivalent, 2-5 years in commercial communication systems or electronics, at least 3 years of driving experience, a clean driving record, ability to lift up to 80 pounds, ability to travel and work rotating hours including weekends/holidays, and possession of valid identity/employment eligibility documentation. The role is based in Albany, Georgia (US). Must comply with pre-employment background checks and drug screening and maintain safe work practices.”,
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2-5 years experience with commercial communication systems or electronics
- Must have at least 3 years of driving experience in the class of vehicle operated
- Must be able to distinguish between far, near, peripheral distances
- Driving record must be free of DUI/DWI for 3-year period prior to employment
- Must possess valid documentation to establish identity and U.S. employment eligibility
- Pre-employment background check by required State or District Lottery and Intralot, Inc.
- Pre-employment drug screening
- Must possess valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
