Job Summary
Field Service Technician responsible for on-site maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs of IPG/Better Packages equipment at customer sites. Duties include installing, repairing, and performing preventive maintenance, diagnosing mechanical, electrical, and minor automation issues, providing on-the-job training to customer maintenance teams, documenting service actions, executing PM programs, assisting with field testing of new products, and traveling as needed (up to ~30% of the work week). Requires hands-on mechanical and electrical aptitude, strong customer communication, ability to work independently, and maintenance of accurate service records while representing IPG in the field.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Associate degree in a technical field preferred
- Equivalent field service experience considered
- Valid driver's license/Real ID or passport for travel
