Job Summary
Field Service Technician - Installation responsible for unloading, installing, and setting up equipment at a customer facility, with heavy travel up to 95%. Must have experience using powered hand tools and reading schematics/assembly diagrams; electrical installation of material handling systems; work with conveyors and sorting systems; test features per specifications; strong communication with non-technical end users; willingness to travel extensively; rigorous physical requirements (lift up to 50 lbs; 10-hour shifts).
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years’ experience installing or servicing material handling equipment, conveyors, or other industrial equipment
- Ability to travel up to 95% - with the company paying travel, hotel, and per diem.
- Electrical installation of material handling systems
- Strong electrical experience
- Experience using computer, cell phone, email, Microsoft Office and Teams
- Ability to read and interpret schematics and machine drawings
- Valid drivers’ license and ability to qualify for a US passport
- Exceptional written and oral communication skills
- Exceptional interpersonal skills, with a focus on listening and questioning skills
- Keen attention to detail
- Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs and work 10-hour shifts
- Physical ability to travel and work in customer sites
- Office in Jonesboro, AR; US-based deployment
