Field Service Technician

Job Summary
Service and maintain hydraulic fracturing and power generation equipment at customer sites, troubleshooting electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic system issues. Perform preventative maintenance, install or replace repair parts, and calibrate tools and test equipment. Prepare accurate service reports while communicating technical findings clearly to customers and team members. Uphold safety standards and Environmental Health and Safety protocols, wearing proper PPE at all times. Collaborate with team members to provide technical guidance and foster strong customer relationships. Maintain a valid driver's license and legal authorization to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship. Based in Midland, TX, this role requires five years of hands-on experience with natural gas engines and rotating machinery.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of five (5) years of hands-on experience in a field service role with natural gas engines, power generation, or similar rotating equipment
- Valid driver's license
- Legal authorization to work in the U.S. without current or future visa sponsorship
- Strong knowledge of natural gas engines, power generation equipment, and rotating machinery
- Proficient in troubleshooting and diagnosing electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and diagrams
- Skilled in the use of hand tools, diagnostic instruments, and calibration equipment
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for technical explanations and reporting
- Strong problem solving, organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, field-based environment
- Commitment to safety and adherence to established protocols and standards
- Ability to stand, sit, walk, use hands and fingers, reach, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, talk, hear, climb, balance, and maintain clear vision
- Ability to frequently push and pull, and regularly lift up to 75 lbs
- Ability to work outdoors and in various weather conditions
