Job Summary
Field Service Technician needed to support Jenbacher gas engines for NES/WES INNIO division. Responsibilities include preventive maintenance, diagnostics, troubleshooting and repairs of engines, interpreting safety documents and mechanical diagrams, and strong customer-facing communication. Requires +7 years in a technical/field-service role, experience with electrical/mechanical systems, ability to travel including overnight travel, and readiness to work in shifts/on-call. Remote-friendly postings with Sacramento and Fresno, CA locations; must be able to operate in non-climate-controlled conditions and collaborate effectively as part of a team.
Required Qualifications
- Strong customer service mindset
- +7 years’ experience in a technical role or extensive field-service experience on engines (ideally Jenbacher)
- Experience with electrical or mechanical systems
- Fluency in English
- Ability to travel including overnight travel
- Strong communication skills and ability to work independently and within a team
- Willingness to work in shift model and on call
- Experience reading safety documents and technical diagrams
- Experience with diagnostic tools and MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
