Job Summary
As Field Service Technician II, provide on-site maintenance, servicing, and repairs for black-and-white, color, and multifunction printers and copiers at customer locations within the Hickory, NC territory. Diagnose equipment issues, perform installations and upgrades, train customers on product use, replace or retrofit components, and manage field calls with effective time management. Build cross-functional skills and contribute to customer satisfaction by ensuring office equipment functions properly to support client operations. Rebuild components at the shop when needed and continually enhance technical capabilities.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- 3+ years of experience in technical repair, service, and installation of copier/office equipment or related devices
- Intermediate computer skills and good electro-mechanical skills
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and perform frequent bending, lifting, and reaching
- Valid driver's license and auto insurance coverage per company policy for positions entailing use of personal vehicle
