Job Summary
Assist senior Field Service Technicians with operating and maintaining utility scale solar facilities, including preventative and corrective maintenance of solar panels, trackers, and power inverters. Troubleshoot low voltage DC, low voltage, and medium voltage AC power systems while conducting preventative maintenance on AC and DC systems. Use hand tools effectively, operate company vehicles, and maintain inventory of spare parts and consumables. Utilize a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) and follow site safety plans, including Lock-out-tag-out (LOTO) practices and Job Hazard Analysis. Interface with project stakeholders and subcontractors, representing RES professionally. Requires 3+ years of related maintenance experience, valid driver's license, and domestic travel of 5-15%.
Required Qualifications
- High school/GED General Education
- 3+ years or more Related maintenance experience
- Basic knowledge of: High voltage electrical power systems
- Intermediate Knowledge Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
- Basic knowledge of: Low voltage and medium voltage electrical power systems
- Basic knowledge of: Drawings
- Basic knowledge of: Circuit theory
- Basic knowledge of: OSHA regulations
- Basic knowledge of: Equipment operation (skid-steer, forklift, etc.)
- Basic knowledge of: Job hazard analysis (JHA) creation
- Basic knowledge of: Electrical tools (multimeter, IR camera)
- Basic knowledge of: ANSI/NETA/MTS
- Basic knowledge of: SCADA systems
- Basic knowledge of: Hand tools
