Job Summary
Conduct on-site technical support for advanced commercial printers at retail locations, performing complex upgrades, replacing parts, and troubleshooting hardware and system connectivity. Diagnose and resolve escalated technology issues regarding operational equipment while serving as the primary customer contact for service-related problems. Coordinate with stakeholders to lead problem resolution and change management processes, ensuring all schedules and transmission systems are restored accurately and timely. Maintain cost-effective repair strategies to minimize customer downtime while operating independently in a fast-paced, client-driven environment.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 to 3+ years of field service experience, specifically in commercial printers
- Must be able to do extensive traveling via plane and / or car
- Must have commercial / large printer experience
- Experience working on commercial printers and have an electronics / mechanical aptitude
- Working knowledge of Windows operating systems, networks, databases and network security concepts and tools
- Electro-mechanical and printer hardware support experience
- Certifications or education: Lexmark printer certification
- Working knowledge of the Microsoft Office application suite including MS Outlook
- Experience with multi-platform Windows O/S
- Working knowledge of Rufus, Windows Server imaging, photo printing experience, ability to troubleshoot system connectivity, Windows configuration
- Ability to work independently in a retail environment
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs
- Excellent customer service skills and professionalism
- Able to communicate effectively both written and verbally, with key stakeholders, leadership, partners, team members, other organizations, and customers
- Ability to coordinate and prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail and quality
- Demonstrated capability to achieve results in a fast-paced, client-driven environment
- Requires a valid state driver's license (Real ID compliant)
