Job Summary
Conduct on-site technical support for internal and external customers, resolving complex technology issues regarding operational and maintenance aspects of system equipment. Perform complex upgrades and troubleshooting of printers, servers, hard drives, and monitor systems, including replacing parts, changing toner drums, and installing or removing equipment as required. Serve as a liaison between customers, departments, and the organization to lead problem resolution and change management processes while determining the most cost-effective repair methods to minimize downtime. This 9-month project involves extensive traveling via plane or car, with overnight flights from Sunday to Thursday and local client site visits. OT may be required. Candidates must be located within 75 miles of Catskill NY 12202 and hold a valid Real ID driver's license.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 to 3+ years of field service experience, specifically in commercial printers
- Must be able to do extensive traveling via plane and / or car
- Must have commercial / large printer experience
- Experience working on commercial printers
- Have an electronics / mechanical aptitude
- Working knowledge of Windows operating systems
- Working knowledge of networks
- Working knowledge of databases
- Working knowledge of network security concepts and tools
- Working knowledge of the Microsoft Office application suite including MS Outlook
- Experience with multi-platform Windows O/S
- Working knowledge of Rufus
- Working knowledge of Windows Server imaging
- Photo printing experience
- Ability to troubleshoot system connectivity
- Windows configuration
- Ability to work independently in a retail environment
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs
- Excellent customer service skills and professionalism
- Able to communicate effectively both written and verbally
- Ability to coordinate and prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously
- Maintaining attention to detail and quality
- Demonstrated capability to achieve results in a fast-paced, client-driven environment
- Valid state driver's license (Real ID compliant)
- Clean MVR
- Have a reliable vehicle

- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
