Job Summary
Field Service Technician II responsible for equipment installations, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on Mimaki printing equipment at client sites. Performs diagnoses using schematics and manuals, conducts customer training, documents service actions, and may deploy Field Change Orders. Requires strong problem-solving, ability to read schematics and wiring diagrams, familiarity with RIP software (e.g., ONYX, Wasatch Soft RIP, Caldera, SAI Flexi, Cadlink Digital Factory, Fiery, Rasterlink), and excellent communication with customers. Travel up to 75% to customer sites; must hold a valid driver’s license. Education in an associate’s or bachelor’s degree or technical certification is required, and strong foundational knowledge in AC/DC power and use of common service tools is expected.
