Field Service Technician II

Job Summary
Perform preventative maintenance on electronic gaming machines (EGMs) and electronic table games (ETGs), conduct diagnostic tests, adjust software settings, and perform functional testing to ensure proper operation at customer sites. Navigate and monitor EGMs via Management Terminal, assemble and prepare accessories per change orders, and complete accurate incident reports and detailed maintenance logs. Adhere to safety procedures and ensure tools and equipment are kept in safe working condition. Willingness to travel to the Cherokee, NC area and interact with customers as part of a field-service role. Must meet regulatory requirements for gaming licenses and possess basic electronics, electrical, and network troubleshooting knowledge with proficiency in PC operations and Microsoft Office applications.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- valid driver’s license
- ability to obtain and maintain gaming licenses as required
- at least 21 years of age
- one year experience in assembly, testing, and repair of electronic gaming devices, or six months experience with related gaming school certificate, or equivalent
- basic knowledge of electricity, electronics, and mechanics of gaming devices
- basic understanding of network communication and troubleshooting
- ability to lift and carry 50 lbs
- read and understand schematics and service manuals
- ability to prepare conversion projects or installations with limited or no supervision
- ability to maintain good customer relations
