Job Summary
Perform electronic, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems troubleshooting and repair of assigned medical products, including minor repairs and operational function checks. Load, unload, and remove medical products weighing up to 1,680 pounds, and safely operate a box truck or company car ranging from a cargo van to a 26,000-pound truck. Provide 24/7 delivery, removal, and service support for products in service centers and customer accounts, including on-call coverage for weekends and holidays. Generate service revenue and complete activities required under service contracts while adhering to safety procedures and wearing appropriate personal protective equipment.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid driver's license and driving record
- Basic mathematical skills – addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division
- Ability to provide on-call coverage, up to 24/7 basis including weekends and holidays, which may require customer account visits
- Ability to load, unload, and remove medical products, weighing up to 1680 pounds
- Safely operate box truck vehicle or company car ranging in size from a cargo van up to a 26,000 pound truck
- Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S.
- Must wear personal protective equipment including but not limited to safety shoes, eye protection, gloves, and protective clothing
- Responsible for adhering to Hill-Rom Safety Procedures
Desired Qualifications
- Technical or Trade School training
- DOT physical card (assistance is provided)
- Experience with FDA regulated products
- Experience in customer service
