Job Summary
Field Service Technician II at Club Car responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing golf cars and utility vehicles at customer sites. Travel to customer locations, inspect and service vehicles, read electrical wiring diagrams, and repair according to manufacturer instructions. Coordinate activities with Team Leader, manage paperwork (work orders, parts orders, quotes), maintain company and personal tools, operate the company vehicle, and ensure compliance with safety regulations. Communicate effectively with customers and colleagues, support local sales initiatives, and be flexible with overtime and weekend coverage. Requires high school diploma or equivalent, valid driver’s license, and mechanical/electrical repair experience; prior golf car repair experience and trailer operation skills are preferred.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma/Equivalent
- Valid driver's license
- Read, write, and communicate in English
- Experience repairing electric and gas-powered vehicles
- Ability to read electrical wiring diagrams
- Strong customer-facing communication skills
- Ability to work independently and with others
- Willingness to travel to customer locations
- Experience operating a company vehicle and towing with a trailer (preferred)
- Experience with paperwork: work orders, parts orders, quotes (preferred)
- Previous golf car repair experience (preferred)
- OT and weekend/holiday availability
- Must adhere to company policies and procedures
- Ability to lift up to 75 pounds
