Job Summary
Conduct all assigned work on customer or company-owned equipment, including mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic troubleshooting, repairs, and maintenance. Diagnose issues, disassemble and assemble components to manufacturer specifications, and inspect parts to maximize reuse while controlling costs. Maintain necessary tools, wear proper PPE, and adhere strictly to safety, environmental, and contamination control policies. Complete required documentation using dealer software to track repair times and monitor job expenses against estimates, reporting any cost overruns to supervisors. Train and mentor team members, assume temporary supervisory duties as needed, and adapt to frequent changes in priorities and workload. Work nights, holidays, and weekends as required to meet service demands.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED
- 5-6 years
- Valid Drivers License
- Successfully completed all required training curriculum to be designated Service Field Tech I
- Able to easily and effectively comprehend written material and communicate orally and in writing with employees and customers
- Must be able to lift 25 lbs
- Must be able to push up to 25 lbs
- Must be able to pull up to 25 lbs
- Must be able to lift 26-50 lbs occasionally
- Must be able to push 26-50 lbs occasionally
- Must be able to pull 26-50 lbs occasionally
- Must be able to lift 26-50 lbs frequently
- Must be able to push over 50 lbs occasionally

- Must be able to work in sufficient noise to cause the worker to shout to be heard above the ambient noise level
- Must be able to work in vibration
- Must be able to work in hazards including proximity to moving mechanical parts, electrical current, working in high places, exposure to heat and/or chemicals
- Must be able to work in fumes, odors, dust, mists, gases or poor ventilation
- Must be able to work in air and/or skin exposure to oils and other cutting fluids
- Must be able to wear respirator for air particulates / contaminants

- Proficient in the use of a computer, Microsoft Office products and relevant Dealer software programs
