Job Summary
Maintain, repair, and resolve issues on tablets, phones, kiosks, and video terminals across correctional facilities. Administer programs for tablet customers, manage user accounts and access permissions, and assist with software updates. Troubleshoot technical problems, train incarcerated individuals on device usage, and coordinate tablet schedules with staff. Communicate with dispatchers for work assignments and provide ETA updates. Maintain inventory of equipment and tools, manage assigned assets, and perform administrative tasks including data entry, reporting, and video visitation support. Travel to various sites to serve as an onsite, hybrid, or roving technician providing technical and administrative support.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Demonstrated ability to work in difficult environments e.g. corrections
- Experience working with Windows OS, and Microsoft office
Desired Qualifications
- Installation, repair and maintenance of telecom and networking devices
- Prior experience using small hand tools to repair electronics
- Previous experience working in law enforcement or correctional environment
