Job Summary
Execute commissioning, decommissioning, and preventative maintenance on multiplex pump skids, Jet Pump systems, and auxiliary components like motors, VSDs, and valves at oil and gas wellsites. Troubleshoot and repair Triplex and Quintuplex pumps, write up service tickets for invoicing, and respond to customer technical inquiries via phone. Maintain a clean work area and truck while participating in on-call rotation for the facility. Requires 1 year of experience with multiplex and Jet pump systems, a clean driving record, and ability to lift up to 50 lbs in various weather conditions.
Required Qualifications
- 1 years of experience as a field service mechanic troubleshooting and repairing multiplex pumps and jet pump artificial lift systems
- Must have an acceptable driving record per company standards
- 21 years of age to drive a company vehicle
- Must be able to lift and carry 25 lbs regularly and 50 lbs occasionally
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus
- The employee is regularly required to talk or hear
- The employee is frequently required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms
- Employee is required to occasionally walk-in customer field locations which may include inclines, uneven surfaces, and a variety of weather conditions
- Employee must be able to regularly bend, stoop, crawl, lay down, twist and push
- Employee is required to wear appropriate personal protective equipment including but not limited to shoes/boots, hard hats, or respirators
- Work normally is executed at customer field locations in a variety of weather and temperature conditions
- Some work is accomplished indoors and in air-conditioned or well-ventilated facilities
- Work may include visits to customer offices or field locations
Desired Qualifications
- Basic understanding of downhole pumps and completions
- Working knowledge of multi-cylinder engines
- Instrumentation & Electrical (I&E) and Automation
