Job Summary
Field Service Mechanics prepare rental equipment for delivery, perform repairs, and complete preventative maintenance on diesel equipment at customer sites, with duties including loading/unloading fleet orders, diagnosing and repairing hydraulic, electrical, and diesel systems, using computer analyzers, and delivering exceptional customer service. The role requires driving to customer worksites, working independently, tools in hand, and maintaining safety and quality standards while supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- Over 5 years of experience
- Field Service Mechanic
- A Valid Driver’s License and the Ability to Drive Company Vehicles per Insurance Requirements may be required on a case-by-case basis, depending on branch needs
- Excellent Customer Service Skills – for both internal and external customers
- Able to work independently, use good judgment and professionalism with customers
- Exhibits average computer skills
- Completes rental equipment preparation by delivery date
- Maintains a ready line
- Achieves quality standards
- Must have own basic tools
