Job Summary
Solar Maintenance Technician: entry-level role responsible for safe, preventative and corrective maintenance of Commercial and Utility Scale Solar PV plants, including testing DC/AC, troubleshooting, maintaining trackers and inverters, interpreting schematics, and maintaining service reports and inventory; requires willingness to learn NEC, electrical theory, and industry best practices; travel and on-call during off-shift hours and weekends; valid driver's license; MS Office proficiency; outdoor work at various solar facilities.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Driver’s License
- OSHA 10 General Industry certificate
- Working knowledge and experience operating under OSHA 1910, NFPA 70E, and 70B
- Proficiency with MS Office suite
- Familiarity with electrical systems and components
- Proficiency in using power tools for repair tasks
- Ability to read and interpret schematics accurately
- Must have the ability to travel, work on-call during off-shift hours and weekends
