Job Summary
Install, troubleshoot, and service magazine bar feeder equipment on CNC lathes at customer locations throughout the Detroit/Southern Michigan region. Receive briefings from Technical Support associates prior to visits to address existing action items and customer needs. Utilize provided tools and instruments while maintaining professional communication with clients. Travel overnight 50-75% of the time depending on base of operation. Requires a driver's license and two to five years of related service technician experience. Day shift Monday through Friday.
Required Qualifications
- Related service technician experience of two through five years or equivalent certified technical training on industrial equipment that utilizes PLC/HMI driven motion control
- Ability to effectively communicate with the customer and professionally represent the company
- Knowledge of industrial electronics, wiring, and electro-mechanical troubleshooting
- Must possess above-average computer skills and be able to use Windows and other software packages such as Salesforce Lightning
- Driver's License
Desired Qualifications
- Knowledge of CNC turning centers, specifically sliding headstock lathes
