Job Summary
Field Service Technician to service and maintain a wide variety of office equipment at customer locations within a defined Michigan-area territory (Grayling, Traverse City, Cadillac, West Branch, extending to Atlanta). Requires driving a company vehicle, providing exceptional customer service, and adhering to safety procedures. Training provided; prior field service or technical repair experience is a plus but not required. Responsibilities include diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining multifunction devices; managing service territory; coordinating with teammates and internal teams; maintaining inventory and service documentation; and representing the company professionally during customer interactions. Schedule is full-time, Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Valid Driver’s License with good driving record
- Factory certifications (Canon, Ricoh, Kyocera, and/or Sharp) preferred but not required
- Knowledge of print drivers and basic network communication helpful
- Proven troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Strong mechanical and technical aptitude
- Excellent organization, communication, and time management skills
- Ability to plan work effectively and manage multiple service calls
- Customer-focused mindset with a commitment to service excellence
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Understanding and alignment with the organization’s core values
