Job Summary
Field Service Technician I in Grand Rapids, MI accountable for customer installation, maintenance, and service calls of electromechanical equipment (including self-checkout systems) within an assigned territory. Responsibilities include servicing, maintaining, repairing, performing PMs and system overhauls, triaging customer issues, and providing proactive problem-solving with a focus on timely solutions. Training is provided to develop skills, and the role involves travel, flexible shifts (morning, afternoon, evening), and the use of standard hardware/operating systems. Must be locally based in the geographic area and meet driving requirements. Overtime is available; benefits and a company vehicle are provided.
Required Qualifications
- Authorized to work in the US
- At least 18 years of age
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to perform essential functions with or without accommodation
- Prolonged travel with driving several hours per day
