Job Summary
Field Service Technician to service standby generator systems (8kW-1MW) throughout the Northeast. Perform preventative maintenance and repairs, troubleshooting, diagnostic testing, load-bank testing and start-ups; prepare accurate quotes and complete work orders. Requires experience with engines, electrical systems, or heavy equipment, ability to provide own tools, OSHA 10 (or ability to obtain), valid DOT card and driver’s license, and on-call rotating schedule. Company provides training, benefits, a company vehicle, stipends, and opportunities for advancement.
Required Qualifications
- Must provide your own tools (multi-meter, hand-tools, etc.)
- Very safety focused with an OSHA 10 (or the ability to attain one)
- Valid DOT Card (or the ability to attain one) and a valid driver’s license
- Experience with engines, electrical systems, or heavy equipment
- Previous experience working on residential or industrial generators
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to participate in an on call, rotating schedule
