Job Summary
Field Service Technician for FTTH installation and maintenance responsible for installing, terminating, and testing Fiber-to-the-Home networks in residential and business locations, ensuring quality and safety, troubleshooting issues, and educating customers.
Required Qualifications
- Experience in FTTH installation and terminations
- Knowledge of fiber optic cable splicing and testing
- Ability to climb ladders and work in confined spaces
- Capable of carrying a 32' ladder
- Ability to lift up to 75 pounds
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficient with MS Office, Internet software, email, and basic understanding of Google Suite
Desired Qualifications
- One to two years of broadband/FTTH field experience (preferred)
- Fiber optic cable splicing and testing knowledge (preferred)
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
