Job Summary
Conduct on-site installation, service, and maintenance for parking and access control hardware and software in the Ft. Myers area. Provide support for multiple products by troubleshooting electronics, mechanical devices, and PC systems across various operating systems. Assist in installing state-of-the-art Parking and Revenue Control systems, including equipment bolt-down, wiring termination, and configuring new equipment under Project Manager direction. Manage software and hardware support for clients and field technicians while handling varied in-state and out-of-state travel obligations. Perform on-call duties during nights and weekends with compensated rotation. Requires electronics technical school training, ability to lift over 50lbs, clean driving record, and proficiency in SQL Server and Microsoft OS.
Required Qualifications
- Electronics technical school training or equivalent
- Ability to work on proprietary software, as well as hardware communications, programming and repair
- Ability to use hand and power tools and lift greater than 50lbs repeatedly
- A clean driving record and ability to complete OSHA safety courses
- SQL Server database maintenance and Microsoft Operating Systems
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, specifically with customers, as well as the ability to work well within a team environment
- Not a desk job! Enjoy operating in outdoor environments exposed to elements
- Varied travel obligations in and out of state
- Compensated on-call rotation during nights and weekends
- On-site installation, service and maintenance for our parking and access control hardware and software installations in the Ft. Myers area
- Provide support for multiple products
- Need to have knowledge of electronics and mechanical devices and PC computer skills
- Work with various operating systems and have knowledge of networking
- Software and hardware support for clients and other field service technicians
- Installation duties include equipment bolt down, installation, wiring termination, establishing communications to software host, configuring and testing of new equipment under direction of a Project Manager
