Job Summary
Field Service Technician at Glory Global Solutions who will service cash-handling equipment and related systems at customer sites. Responsibilities include diagnosing system problems, performing repairs and installations, keeping customers informed during maintenance events, and handling hardware/software upgrades per Engineering Change Notices. The role requires strong customer service, ability to read electrical schematics and diagrams, knowledge of AC/DC power distribution and digital/analog circuitry, and willingness to travel to various customer locations. A company vehicle is provided and candidates should live within a reasonable commute of the assigned territory; on-call and weekend work may be required. Required Qualifications
- Currently in or completed studies in electro-mechanics, electrical engineering, or equivalent experience
- Certificates in related fields preferred (mechanics, electronics, automation, data processing)
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Working knowledge of PCs, MS Office, navigation across networks and email
- Ability to read electric schematics, logic diagrams, mechanical drawings
- AC/DC power distribution knowledge and digital/analog circuitry
- Experience repairing high-speed paper handling machines (check sorters, mail sorters, currency sorters); ATM or copier repair experience preferred
- 3-5 years of technical field service repair experience preferred (aviation, medical equipment, vending machine, or military repair)
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, sit/stand for long periods, kneel/bend/squat/twist
- Willingness to travel to customer sites and occasional overnight travel
- Ability to work weekends/holidays on a rotation basis
- Comfort working in customer sites including financial institutions and gaming environments
- Autonomous work style with minimal supervision
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem isolation skills
- Experience with PC knowledge but not IT/help desk focused
