Job Summary
Field Service Technician role supporting CVS Health stores in the Fort Wayne IN metro area. Responsible for providing technical support to field employees on POS systems, pharmacy systems, photo kiosks, and inventory management; performing regular software updates, hardware upgrades, and equipment replacements; setting up new POS terminals and ensuring connectivity; diagnosing and resolving complex hardware issues; maintaining records of service calls and installations; collaborating with help desk, network engineers, and software developers; ensuring IT parts and equipment are stocked and available; must be available on-call 24 hours and able to travel between CVS locations within the territory; requires a valid driver’s license, ability to lift up to 75 lbs, and readiness to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays; education includes High School diploma or GED.
Required Qualifications
- 1+ years of hands-on experience with troubleshooting hardware, maintenance and repairs
- Valid Driver’s License with no major violations
- Willingness to drive between CVS locations within Fort Wayne IN Metro area (Reside in the territory supported)
- Available to work days, nights, weekends, holidays
- Ability to lift 75lbs + and occasionally work on a ladder
- High School diploma or GED is required
