Job Summary
Perform installations, commissioning, and advanced diagnostics for Enphase EVSE systems at residential and commercial sites, including repairs, component replacements, and hands-on installation support. Execute preventive and corrective maintenance to optimize system performance while adhering to local electrical codes, fire safety standards, and manufacturer specifications. Provide on-site expertise for complex fault diagnosis and collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve high-impact issues. Document all service activities and maintain accurate records of repairs and commissioning results. Travel regularly to customer locations using a provided service vehicle, coordinating schedules with the Service Coordinator for trips up to five days. Ensure safety compliance and report any deviations or incidents promptly. Maintain current knowledge of solar, storage, and energy management technologies.
Required Qualifications
- Residence in the greater Stavanger area
- Minimum 2 years of relevant hands-on experience in solar PV, energy storage, inverters, and preferably EV chargers
- Relevant electrical education (e.g. fagbrev as electrician, Group L, or equivalent technical qualification)
- DSB approval for electrical work
- FSE safety training
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals
- Fluency in Norwegian
- Business level in English
- Strong time management, self-organization, and accurate, punctual reporting
- Clear and professional communication with customers, installers, and internal stakeholders
- Team-oriented mindset with the ability to support fellow technicians and the wider service team
- Willingness to work flexible hours to accommodate customer and installer needs
- Act as a trusted Enphase ambassador in all customer-facing interactions
- Travel regularly to customer locations using an Enphase-provided, fully equipped service vehicle, including short-term travel of up to 3–5 days at a time
