Job Summary
FIELD SERVICE TECHNICIAN performs repairs and maintenance on electric, diesel, and gasoline industrial trucks and construction equipment. Responsibilities include reading work orders, diagnosing malfunctions, proposing solutions, providing repair descriptions and serial numbers, obtaining customer signatures, inspecting safety devices, lubricating moving parts, operating/returning repaired equipment, coordinating with service management, and submitting time cards. Skills emphasize communication with customers, safety awareness, basic math, reading/writing reports, and computer/software familiarity; requires valid driver’s license and ability to interpret safety and maintenance instructions. The role emphasizes professional representation of Equipment Depot and adherence to company values while servicing on-site at various locations, with normal on-site work as the primary arrangement.
Required Qualifications
- High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED)
- One to Three months related experience and/or training – and/or combination of education and experience
- Must have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record
