Job Summary
Review and update personal tool inventory quarterly to maintain compliance with calibration and replacement protocols. Complete daily work assignments by troubleshooting, repairing, and installing mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and pneumatic systems either by phone or on site. Process warranty claims, communicate service activities through daily reports, and rebuild components to OEM specifications in the service shop. Execute specialized solutions customized to customer issues while adhering to safety and environmental requirements. Maintain a valid driver's license and operate company vehicles as needed for onsite and customer site travel.
Required Qualifications
- basic computer skills
- familiar with Epiroc equipment
- previous work experience demonstrating a strong mechanical aptitude
- good work ethic
- ability to read basic hydraulic and 24-volt schematics
- own hand tools
- valid driver's license
- good driving record
- ability to pass all requirements necessary to obtain a Commercial Driver's License (CDL) for Department of Transportation (DOT) purposes and maintain an active license
- ability to drive commercial motor vehicles (CMVs) within state lines (intrastate) only
- ability to drive commercial vehicles across state lines (interstate)
- age of at least 18 years to drive commercial motor vehicles (CMVs) within state lines (intrastate) only
- age of at least 21 years old to drive commercial vehicles across state lines (interstate)
- Certificate of Completion for a Technical or Trade School
- equivalent of 2-5 years of relevant experience
- equivalent of 5+ years of relevant experience
- Expert at Rig Control Systems (RCS)
- ability to complete TL1 and TL2 training and Safe Start Modules 1-5 within the first year of employment
- ability to maintain required US Department of Labor, Mine, Safety & Health Administration Training Certificates
- ability to agree to complete the training program(s) needed to acquire the Training Certificates by date required by Manager
- ability to travel
- ability to complete TL1 and TL2 within 3-6 months of hire
- ability to complete TL1 and TL2 training within 1 month of hire
