Job Summary
Field Service Technicians at Epiroc USA LLC are responsible for providing service support for technical problems, monitoring, testing, and demonstrations to minimize downtime and reduce costs. Responsibilities include troubleshooting, repairing, and installing parts for various equipment, maintaining tool inventory, understanding warranty policies, and adhering to safety protocols. Technicians must possess mechanical skills and a good work ethic, and may need to complete specific training within defined timelines. This role requires exposure to outdoor elements and safety-sensitive environments.
Required Qualifications
- Basic computer skills
- Familiarity with Epiroc equipment
- Previous work experience demonstrating a strong mechanical aptitude
- Good work ethic
- Ability to read basic hydraulic and 24-volt schematics
- Possession of hand tools
- Completion of TL1 and TL2 training and Safe Start Modules within the first year of employment
- Maintaining US Department of Labor, Mine Safety & Health Administration Training Certificates
- Valid driver’s license and good driving record
- Ability to operate a commercial vehicle if required
Additional Requirements
- Employees must be at least 18 years of age to drive commercial motor vehicles (CMVs) within state lines (intrastate) only; Drivers must be at least 21 years old to drive commercial vehicles across state lines (interstate)
