Field Service Technician - Emergency Response/On Call

Job Summary
Operate light and heavy equipment, handle hazardous materials, and conduct site remediation while ensuring health and safety is the top priority. Wear appropriate personal protective equipment, inspect drums for integrity, and perform waste stream sampling and profiling. Safely load and unload waste, climb scaffolding and ladders, and operate vehicles in compliance with DOT and federal regulations. Attend compliance meetings and follow all local, state, and federal rules. This role requires new hire academy training, a valid driver's license, and the ability to work extended shifts on rotating emergency response calls including weekends and holidays.
Required Qualifications
- Reliable transportation
- Ability to perform physical functions per Key Responsibilities
- Agreeing to be on-call for emergency response on a rotating basis every other week
- Agreeing to work on weekends and holidays on occasion
- Agreeing to work emergency response situations extending beyond 8 hours up to 12-24 hours
- Successfully complete a background check
- Successfully complete a drug test
- Successfully complete a physical
- Meeting facial hair standards per OSHA's Respiratory Protection standard 29 CFR 1910.34
- Valid Driver's license
- Previous relevant labor experience
