Field Service Technician - Electrician

Job Summary
Conduct preventative maintenance, fault diagnosis, and technical repairs on gas reticulation systems, control panels, and customer installations across the Central Queensland region. Respond to emergency service calls to execute high-quality repairs with minimal rework and escalate complex engineering challenges to regional engineers. Maintain company assets to extend service life while adhering to a strict zero-compromise safety mindset and participating in a weekend on-call roster per fortnight. Requires a current QLD Electrical License, valid driver's license, and strong technical diagnostic skills. Base salary plus daily field allowance, overtime, and a fully maintained tool-of-trade vehicle with fuel card.
Required Qualifications
- Current QLD Electrical License
- Current, valid State Driver's License
- Valid and full Australian working rights
- Willingness to participate in a 7-day on-call roster per month
- Willingness to travel across Mackay/surrounding areas
Desired Qualifications
- MR Class driver's license
- Current Mine Site Inductions (e.g., Standard 11 / Mine Clearances)
- Forklift (LF) license
- Elevated Work Platform (EWP) license
- Confined Space license
- Rigging licenses
- Previous experience servicing rotating equipment
- Previous experience servicing industrial air compressors
- Previous experience servicing instrumentation
- Previous experience servicing automated systems
- Previous experience servicing gas reticulation and pressure vessels
