Field Service Technician- East Coast

Job Summary
The Field Service Technician is responsible for the installation, commissioning, troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of Eos commercial BESS and third-party products. This role requires strong knowledge of electrical systems, the ability to operate and test equipment, and proficiency in writing reports and training customers. The technician must be able to work independently, utilize various software tools, and communicate effectively about technical challenges. Travel is required, with up to 100% of working time at field installations, including working conditions that may be physically demanding or hazardous.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Minimum of one to three (1-3) years of (field) experience in Electrical/Electronics/Power electronics and or network communications is recommended
- Knowledge of the National Electrical Code
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally
- Exceptional communication skills
- Ability to work at great heights and in extreme environments
- Ability to lift at least 50 pounds frequently
Desired Qualifications
- Trade or vocational college focusing on electrical work/renewable energy/electronics preferred
- Prior experience in the renewable industry, preferable energy storage, is strongly preferred
- Electrical safety training, NFPA70E or similar
- Medium Voltage/ Substation experience is a plus
