Job Summary
Entry-level Field Service Technician responsible for preventative and corrective maintenance of Commercial and Utility Scale Solar PV plants; duties include safety, routine preventive maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of solar photovoltaic facilities (modules, strings, trackers, inverters), DC/AC testing (polarity, open circuit voltage, grounding continuity, insulation resistance, I-V curve tracing), interpreting schematics, maintaining trackers and substation equipment, documenting service reports and safety paperwork, and providing maintenance training to technicians; requires willingness to learn NEC code and electrical theory, travel to job sites, and on-call availability.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Driver’s License
- OSHA 1910, NFPA 70E, and 70B
- OSHA 10 General Industry certificate
- Ability to travel; on-call during off-shift hours and weekends
- Proficiency with MS Office suite
- Ability to read and interpret schematics accurately
