Job Summary
Field Service Technician for downhole service equipment who travels to customer locations to commission, service, calibrate, troubleshoot and teardown equipment. Responsibilities include diagnosing electrical and mechanical issues, maintaining open communication with personnel and clients, advising operators on proper maintenance, maintaining service records, adhering to NOV policies, and occasionally working in the customer's shop. Qualifications emphasize experience in a mechanical repair environment, hydraulic experience a plus, and a driver abstract; role is safety sensitive and requires pre-employment testing.
