Job Summary
Field Service Technician role focused on installing, servicing, and repairing valves and valve automation equipment with frequent travel within Wisconsin and Northern Illinois; requires clear customer communication, hands-on mechanical and electrical aptitude, ability to work in a home-office supporting shop tasks, and staying safety-conscious while performing on-site service, with responsibilities spanning installation, setup, testing, maintenance, troubleshooting, and documenting customer activity in project records.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Must have a valid driver's license and clean driving record.
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- General knowledge of electrical circuitry
- Valve repair/automation experience is a plus
- Strong communications skills
- Be able to carry and lift tools, parts, and equipment weighing up to 50 lb
- Be able to bend, squat, stand, reach, climb ladders, and work with your hands
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to problem solve independently
- Proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
