Job Summary
Field Service Technician responsible for installation, repair, maintenance, and management of Pregis Packaging equipment, with emphasis on Pregis systems and customer-ready demonstrations and end-user training. The role requires in-field support, preventive maintenance scheduling, diagnostics, and generating detailed service documentation. Travel within the assigned territory (Fort Worth/Dallas area) with daily local customer-site visits, extensive hands-on troubleshooting, calibration, and collaboration with internal teams to ensure workflow continuity and updated product knowledge. Requires ability to read blueprints and electrical schematics, strong communication skills with customers and account managers, and the capacity to mentor others in troubleshooting methodologies. Preferred Associate’s degree and at least 5 years of related experience; valid driver’s license and ability to travel up to 50%.
Required Qualifications
- Associate’s degree or equivalent from 2-year college (preferred)
- At least 5 years of related experience and/or training (preferred)
- Mechanical assembly skills and ability to read blueprints/manuals/electrical schematics
- Strong mechanical troubleshooting, calibration, and maintenance skills and some electrical aptitude
- Excellent communication skills
- Clean driving record
