Job Summary
Field Service Technician, Crushing role in Eastern Canada providing on-site troubleshooting, repair, and installation of crushing and screening equipment; requires post-secondary education in heavy equipment mechanics or millwrights and 2 years of relevant experience, plus a valid driver’s license and willingness to travel within an assigned territory; responsibilities include troubleshooting, diagnosing problems with testing equipment, maintaining quality workmanship on-site, performing installations and commissioning, and maintaining strong customer relationships through regular visits and timely service reporting; safety-focused with adherence to Toromont Cat’s Health and Safety culture; opportunities for growth through internal training programs and flexible work schedules across multiple locations in Eastern Canada; travel will be required within the territory.
Required Qualifications
- Post secondary education in the field of heavy equipment mechanics, industrial mechanics or experienced millwrights
- 2 years' experience in the maintenance and repair of crushing or screening equipment
- Work experience in the construction or mining sectors is an asset
- A valid driver’s license is required and willingness to travel within an assigned territory
