Job Summary
Field Service Technician needed to support a mining and aggregate operation in the Knoxville, TN area. You’ll work hands-on with crushing and screening equipment (jaw, cone, and impact crushers; screening plants; conveyors and material handling systems), perform preventative maintenance, inspections, and routine service, assist with start-ups and commissioning, complete PDIs and service reports, diagnose mechanical/hydraulic issues, and interact with customers in the field. Opportunity for growth into senior technician or leadership roles based on performance. Primarily field-based with frequent travel to customer sites; exposed to outdoor conditions and heavy equipment; strong emphasis on diagnostics, troubleshooting, and hands-on repairs.
Required Qualifications
- Basic experience with mechanical systems
- Aggregate equipment experience preferred but not required
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Willingness to learn
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently in the field
- Valid driver’s license
- Willingness to travel regionally, including occasional overnight stays
