Field Service Technician

Job Summary
Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair Crown and other makes of lift trucks while performing assigned planned maintenance on customer vehicles. Maintain the service van and its inventory, then process paperwork after completing each job. You must hold a valid driver's license with a good driving record and the ability to safely operate lift trucks. This role requires less than two years of related experience and primarily operates on the first shift with 40 hours per week plus overtime. Crown provides award-winning service training, a company vehicle, tool insurance, and no flat-rate pay structure for field service technicians.
Required Qualifications
- Less than 2 years related experience
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license
- Good driving record
- Ability to safely operate lift trucks
- Crown will only employ those who are legally authorized to work in the United States
- This is not a position for which sponsorship will be provided
- Individuals with temporary visas or who need sponsorship for work authorization now or in the future, are not eligible for hire

- Ability to read and understand electrical schematics

- Previous lift truck repair experience
- Welding experience
- Knowledge of various types of testing equipment
- Familiarity with common hand tools
- Familiarity with electrical/air tools
- Familiarity with torch
- Familiarity with arc welder
- Industry related training
- Ability to read and understand service manuals
- Ability to plan
- Ability to follow-through
