Job Summary
Field Service Technician for ABB's Electrification division in Brazil, focusing on Critical Power, UPS, and battery-bank portfolios. Responsible for planning and executing field service activities, ensuring on-time delivery, quality, and safety; identifying technical issues and performing analysis on-site or remotely; preparing material lists and customer reports; pursuing opportunities to improve customer operations and grow ABB's service business; and coordinating with the account team to notify on new service opportunities. Requires a Technical degree, field service experience in critical power, knowledge of UPS/battery banks, and frequent travel with a valid Category B driver's license. Proficiency in Spanish is a plus. The role involves customer on-site work, problem diagnosis, and delivering first-time-right service, with a collaborative environment and growth opportunities within ABB.
Required Qualifications
- Technical degree in Electrical, Electronic, or Electrotechnical fields
- Field Service experience in Critical Power
- Knowledge in UPS (Uninterruptible Power Supply) and battery banks
- Experience in the electrical industry
- Valid driver's license – Category B
- Availability for frequent travel
- Nice to Have Knowledge in STS (Static Transfer Switches) and PDU (Power Distribution Unit)
- Intermediate or advanced Spanish
