Job Summary
Field Service Technician needed to maintain humanoid robots and supporting site infrastructure at commercial or residential customer sites; responsibilities include routine maintenance and inspections of the humanoid robot fleet, troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, and software issues, collaborating with engineering/build/validation/fabrication teams, providing on-site feedback to drive product improvements, keeping detailed maintenance records, developing tools and diagnostic procedures, and following assembly documentation while meeting short timelines. Requires 3+ years of experience with complex systems, familiarity with CMD prompt, Google Suite, in-house development GUIs, electrical diagnostic tools (scope, DMM, current probes), torque tools and mechanical assembly, ability to read PCB/harness schematics, and the ability to remove/replace components up to 50lbs. Valid driver’s license and a proactive, customer-facing attitude are essential. Bonus qualifications include CAD/Catia, fabrication, PCB rework, DAQ, robotics experience, and familiarity with Jira/Confluence/Slack. Salary range is $35-$50 per hour, annualized to $72,800-$104,000 depending on factors; base locations at San Jose, CA and Reno, NV.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years experience working with complex systems
- Familiarity with computer based tools such as CMD prompt, Google Suite, in house development GUI’s
- Familiarity with electrical hardware based diagnostic tools such as Scope, Digital MultiMeter, Current Probes
- Familiarity with torque tools and mechanical assembly
- Ability to read PCB and Harness schematics
- Full system architecture diagnostic experience and organized diagnostic processes
- Ability to remove and replace mechanical components up to 50lbs
- Great attitude and excited to face challenges
- Valid drivers license and clean driving record
