Job Summary
Accurately and timely completion of Astea Mobile Work Orders, including capturing labor and travel time stamps, equipment lists, parts, and detailed notes of work performed for each visit. Manage all on-site installation, repair, maintenance, and test tasks while diagnosing errors or technical problems and determining proper solutions. Satisfy business reporting documentation including timesheets, repair orders, machine checklists, receiving records, expense reports, and repair order logs. Daily processing of Parts Received at the tech location, reporting discrepancies immediately. Recognize and secure additional revenue opportunities such as new potential customers, recovering lost customers, PM service agreements, and spare parts sales. Travel and driving is required to visit hospitals, schools, office buildings, industrial complexes, and retail stores.
Required Qualifications
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must be able to lift and/or move up to 100 pounds
- Must have close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus
- Travel and driving is required
Desired Qualifications
- 3 to 5 years of related mechanical or technical experience, troubleshooting corded electric, battery, and/or combustion engine-powered equipment
- Strong electro-mechanical skills
