Job Summary
Seeking an experienced Field Service Technician to manage installation, commissioning, troubleshooting, and repairs on industrial boiler systems remotely while traveling 75-80%. The position involves substantial travel internationally, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to interpret mechanical and electrical schematics.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of boiler experience required (4 years considered only in exceptional cases)
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work with minimal supervision
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Able to pass drug and alcohol screenings as required by customer sites
Desired Qualifications
- Strong understanding of burner control systems (e.g., Siemens Safeguard)
- Ability to connect to and read PLC systems
- Proficiency with mechanical and electrical schematics
- Willingness to travel three weeks per month or more
- Basic computer proficiency (Excel, Outlook, Microsoft Office)
- Previous Navy boiler/steam experience
