Job Summary
Provide fuel cell field service during dispatches, operate a service vehicle safely, perform on-site preventative maintenance, repair, test, and diagnostic tasks, follow procedures, communicate with customers and team, and travel within the San Francisco Bay Area. Demonstrates strong electrical troubleshooting skills, reads electrical diagrams, maintains service vehicle and inventory, and produces timely service reports while working autonomously and coordinating with a technical team.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent with 6 years’ experience in electrical, process controls, or electro-mechanical fields; or technical diploma with Journeyman/Electrician Certification and 4+ years of relevant experience; or 5+ years commercial electrical experience with related military electrical experience
Desired Qualifications
- High school diploma plus 6 years of experience in electrical, process controls, or electro-mechanical fields
- Technical diploma, Journeymen Certification, Electrician Certification with 4+ years of relevant experience
- 5+ years relevant experience in commercial electrical with electrical-related military experience (e.g., Navy Nuclear Electronics/Electrical Technician) or equivalent
- Experience with three-phase systems, uninterruptible power supplies, power electronics, automatic transfer switches, and microprocessor-based control platforms
- Familiarity with safety standards (OSHA & NFPA 70E)
- Ability to read and interpret electrical single-line diagrams and blueprints
- Experience with ANSI/NETA standards for Electrical Power Mechanical systems
- Ability to travel andWork autonomously in field settings
- Strong electrical troubleshooting/diagnostic skills
- Demonstrated reliability and customer-facing professionalism
