Job Summary
Field Service Technician role diagnosing and repairing mechanical issues on diesel engines, overhead cranes, hoists, and elevators. Responsibilities include inspecting hoists, fall protection, and rigging for safety and compliance with standards; troubleshooting, repairing, and performing proof tests; conducting preventive maintenance; evaluating repairs and planning daily schedules; documenting actions; maintaining equipment and stock; and preparing information for replacement/repair proposals. Requires ability to read electrical schematics, troubleshoot 460V 3-phase electrical systems, travel to service sites (e.g., Orlando), operate safely at heights, and own essential tools. Required Qualifications
- Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship
- Must possess the ability to read electrical schematics and troubleshoot 460 vac 3 phase electrical motors and controls circuitry
- Must be able to travel to Orlando as dictated by service & customer needs
- Must be comfortable working at certain heights
- Must own electricians hand tools, quality electrical test meter, and steel toed boots
- Must have valid driver’s license with clean record, currently possess, or can immediately secure, a valid TWIC card
- Technical Education Certification preferred
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Environmental Job Requirements: able to work outdoors in heat/cold; travel to job sites; willingness to travel
